Goodbye Old. Hello New. Get under the hood of AYINs brand refresh.

On the list of the ‘most exciting things about working in the tech industry’ — particularly in blockchain — is the bleeding edge innovation and the need to stay hot and at the edge. That’s why we’re excited to announce the release of our latest AYIN Brand Guidelines — a fresh set of clothes for AYIN!

What’s Changing? When?

We believe that change is generally a good thing and that as a neoteric tech collective it is with our community, our protocol users, and fellow ecosystem partners that we most owe our allegiance. Maintaining this trust and interest necessitates regular updates — we are conscious that over the last three months of rebirth, we’ve been unable to publicly deliver on that.

It’s hard to convey how truly transformative the last few months have been in camp AYIN, it has seen paradigm changes to the leadership team — we have been in a constant state of ‘new’ and ‘next’, but thanks to that short period of ‘head down and do it’ we are now in a position to deliver a sustained torrent of significant product updates and novel features. Don’t get us wrong — we are not change junkies (!) but with the recent publication of the AYIN Roadmap, hopefully, that sheds some light on our preparatory activities — we needed to battle test all our foundations for the new journey that we’re on — that ultimately we believe will greatly benefit you — our community.

With this level of change, it just made perfect sense to update our image to provide a fresher look, and one that integrates more fully with our vision for the future. We want to provide a more seamless and cohesive user experience from the moment you lay eyes on our website to the moment you fire up the AYIN D’app for the very first time.

“We believe that one of the most important qualities that a DeFi product like AYIN should have is a top-notch user experience.” Commented Saul, AYINs TechKing, continuing: “But this experience extends well beyond the products and services — it must be represented in every aspect of brand interaction. First impressions matter more than ever before and with the release of our new and refreshed branding, we’re positioning ourselves in such a way as to benefit not just AYIN, but all visitors to the Alephium ecosystem.”

“Our challenge was to create a more modern brand identity that would reflect the evolution of AYIN without breaking from the brand’s beginnings” added Walter, AYINs Chief ALPHAmist (and brand botanist!), Our aim was to create an evocative identity for AYIN that is foundationally digital-first / web3 native while capturing the AYIN Collectives passion and our bold approach and determination to Alephium DeFi… a hot palette of vivid technicolour has emerged …its brighter, certainly new, a more luminous gradient … that captures a more expressive and contemporary way to convey the dynamic nature of the AYIN brand, in addition, we have subtly tweaked the logo mark — splitting the AYIN into three areas of new brand real estate”

The new visual identity will be deployed across a variety of applications over the coming weeks — the new logo lock-ups, colors, and typography will be rolled out across all platform assets, reports, infographics, dashboards, and it will of course be applied to the newly re-designed website scheduled for release next month.

It is important to note that an overall re-brand exercise is commonly a multi-month collaboration across multi-disciplined teams working towards one common objective. While communication and design has formed the cornerstones of the AYINs brand facelift so far, we are still exploring and understanding what’s working best and critically how we can present the AYIN brand to underexposed audiences in more impactful ways.

In short — we still have runway here — we are not done — we remain super focused on really nailing and closing out all the fine details on a super attractive and cohesive brand look and feel that supports AYIN’s mission moving forward. A big part of this mission is to provide allure and confidence to folk discovering this ecosystem for the first time — so details matter. To us anyway!
