AYIN Collective announces Meta Concentrated Liquidity AMM

What’s that? Is it the sound of a freight train approaching? A jet’s engines gearing up for takeoff? A siren alerting all those paying attention to what the AYIN Collective is building? Yes, it is all three. The AYIN Collective is extremely proud to announce that another ALPHa bomb has been dropped in conjunction with our jam-packed roadmap in accordance with our Q4 Meta Fi campaign.

CLAMM will arrive tomorrow on AYIN DEX, the #1 DEX and heart of liquidity on the Alephium chain. Some of you may ask (and remember there are no stupid questions) what even is CLAMM? CLAMM stands for “Concentrated Liquidity Automated Market Maker”.

A CLAMM is a type of AMM (Automated Market Maker) that allows users to trade assets without the need for a centralized order book. Similar to traditional AMMs, CLAMMs use a mathematical formula to determine the price at which trades can be executed based on the amount of liquidity available in the pool. However, unlike traditional AMMs, CLAMMs allow LPs (liquidity providers) to concentrate their liquidity within a specific price range rather than spread it across the entire price spectrum.

Why is AYIN integrating CLAMM in our DEX a game-changer you may ask? CLAMM comes with a lot of pros.

• When compared with traditional AMMs, CLAMMs provide more control over the liquidity of a trading pair, giving LPs the option to specify their exposure to specific price ranges
• LPs are able to concentrate their liquidity within a certain price range, allowing for higher fees and lower slippage when compared with traditional AMMs
• CLAMMs are able to be more resistant to market manipulation

Building CLAMM on AYIN is a testament to our talented development team, but also our testament to building cool and useful products for all of Alephium to enjoy. The more game-changing products we are able to bring to Alephium, the better the user experience, and the more people make the obvious switch to a superior chain (its obvious for many of us early adopters, and will become increasingly so to others in the near future.)
